Alberta, I just *love* the way you approach style and dressing. I’ve been devouring your content here and on YT since I found your work, and I am so happy you’re sharing your perspective! I love how you think about dressing for the life you’re living, working with what you have, but really making it ~sing~. your eye for color & detail — just 🤌🏻.
I also dread summer dressing - I feel most myself when layers are accessible (and I overheat easily), so in the summer i feel so daunted by the task of feeling & looking like “me”. I have been taking notes on all the sweet accessories you pull in — I’m pretty sold on The Brooch Agenda hehe 😇
I’m feeling super inspired by your moodboards and thoughts behind them!
Anyway, I hope you’re having a lovely trip, and I’m excited to see this project you’re sewing up! I’m currently awaiting a sewing machine delivery (I’ve been working with a barely-functional one for years lol, and *finally* upgraded) and I’m daydreaming about sewing for summer - maybe a poplin set for sleep-to-daywear, as a starting point:)
Love everything in this post, especially your antique underwear looks! I recently found the vintage Italian bloomers of my dreams and can’t wait to pair them with my bright tangerine flats.
